«Marie Curie» is the illustrated biography by Beverley Birch published by L'Etincelle in paperback in 1990 (64 pages, in French).
It reviews Marie Curie's life: her struggle to make her way as a woman, her studies in physics and mathematics, and her work with radioactivity. It recounts how she isolated polonium and radium, received two Nobel Prizes, and preferred not to profit from her discoveries so that humanity could benefit from them.
Volume 4 of the collection «Les gens qui ont aidé l'humanité». French translation by William Olivier Desmond.
Suitable for young readers and for those seeking a brief introduction to her figure.
