«Los métodos de la lógica» is Willard V. O. Quine's essay on logic, published by Planeta-Agostini in hardback (361 pages, in Spanish).
Quine sets out the foundations of formal logic: the analysis of propositions, truth functions, general terms, quantifiers and the conditions of valid inference. This book, conceived as a manual, combines philosophical rigour with a practical orientation for the study of reasoning.
This edition belongs to the collection «Obras Maestras del Pensamiento Contemporáneo» (number 32), with a translation by Juan José Acero and Nieves Guasch. Quine's original work, «Methods of Logic», appeared in 1950.
This manual is suitable for philosophy students and for independent study of logic, both in the classroom and beyond.
