«El Estado y la Revolución» is Vladimir Lenin's essay on political theory, published by Planeta DeAgostini in hardback (170 pages, in Spanish).
Lenin examines the origin and function of the state in capitalist society from the theses of Marx and Engels, and argues that the proletarian revolution must overthrow the bourgeois state and establish a dictatorship of the proletariat as a transition towards a stateless communist society, applying these theses to early 20th-century Russia.
This 1993 edition bears the subtitle «Obras Maestras del Pensamiento Contemporáneo» on its cover and is classified under the category of Philosophy.
A reference work for readers interested in Marxism, philosophy, and state theory.
