«Los hijos del Trueno» is the young adult novel by Fernando Lalana and José María Almárcegui, published by Santillana Educación, S.L. in paperback, 328 pages.
The National Management of Intellectual Education decides to tackle school failure by requiring each classroom to have twenty-two students and sending the extras to the new Remanent Institutes. There, a group of young people labeled as failures rebels and puts the system in check, in a zany school story about friendship and rebellion.
It was published in 2016 within the Serie Roja (+14) collection of the Loqueleo imprint, from Santillana Educación.
Recommended for young readers aged 14 and up, especially for those seeking humor and rebellion in the school setting.
