«Los expedientes secretos» is Manuel Carballal's essay on the CESID and unexplained phenomena, published by Planeta in paperback in 2001.
Manuel Carballal analyses the relationship between the CESID and the paranormal: psychics used as disinformers, cults, biological experiments, esoteric myths and UFO sightings. The book argues that the Spanish intelligence services sought to control beliefs and use the inexplicable as a disinformation tool.
