In this special limited edition of 'Los asquerosos', Santiago Lorenzo presents us with a static thriller and a modern version of Robinson Crusoe, set in empty Spain. Manuel, the protagonist, is forced to flee after stabbing a policeman, finding refuge in an abandoned village. There, he survives with the bare minimum, realizing that the less he owns, the less he needs. This novel invites reflection on society and questions whether those who criticize it are, in reality, the sanest.
