«L'home que es va perdre» is Francesc Trabal's absurd humour novel, published by Quaderns Crema in paperback (162 pages, in Catalan).
Lluís Frederic Picàbia loses personal objects, his fiancée, a secretary and even ideas. That mania becomes a trade, and his losses reach absurd proportions: a twenty-four-storey building in New York, elephants by a river, the jewels of the Swedish Crown. Sarcastic and absurd humour about identity and memory.
The novel belongs to Quaderns Crema's Mínima Minor collection, as number 10, and was originally published in 1929.
For readers of classic Catalan narrative and absurd humour.
