Days at the beach and games include a failed attempt to germinate a bean, and then the group heads to the Blue Camp, where misunderstandings and comic situations pile up relentlessly.
Third title in the Le Petit Nicolas series, in the Folio Junior Édition spéciale collection. Recommended reading age: 9 to 14 years.
Aimed at those who enjoy the humour of childhood mischief and seek youth reading in French.

Jean-Jacques Sempé, usually known as Sempé, was a French cartoonist. He is known for the series of children's books he created with René Goscinny, Le Petit Nicolas, and also for his poster-like illustrations, usually drawn from a distant or high viewpoint depicting detailed countrysides or cities. For decades, he created covers for The New Yorker.
