«Le Crime des pères» is the novel by Michel del Castillo, published by Éditions du Seuil in 1993, in paperback (294 pages, in French).
The work is conceived as a personal and literary inquiry: the narrator returns to Huesca, where at the end of his adolescence he lived a story woven with enigmas and never concluded, to reconstruct a narrative that eludes him. Between the novel, memory and testimony, writing becomes an inner quest.
The work won the Grand Prix RTL-Lire 1993. This edition belongs to the Cadre rouge collection from Seuil.
Michel Janicot del Castillo was a French writer.
