«La tortuga, el hipopótamo y el elefante», an African fable, is the children's play by Ramón García Domínguez, published by Don Bosco in paperback.
The play adapts an African fable from the Fang tribe. It is conceived as a short theatrical text: the author performed it in schools in Equatorial Africa, and the book offers clues and suggestions for staging one's own production. It includes illustrations by Horacio Elena and musical scores of the songs.
Published in 1976, it has 47 pages, is written in Spanish, and includes music by J. A. Mur; it is part of the Teatro edebe collection.
For children and for school or amateur theatre groups wanting a short fable, with staging suggestions and songs.
