«La paradoja» is the story about the true essence of leadership by James C. Hunter, published by Empresa Activa in paperback (176 pages, in Spanish).
Starting from the question of what qualities are needed to manage well, it argues that leading means serving others. Against authority based on fear, it defends respect earned through integrity, sincerity and empathy, and stresses that work is done by people: caring for human relationships is key to collaboration, also within the family.
Work originally published as «The Servant: A Simple Story About the True Essence of Leadership»; belongs to the Narrativa empresarial collection.
For those starting to manage teams or seeking to develop leadership, and for readers of practical philosophy and self-help.

Hunter Schafer is an American actress, model and transgender rights activist. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Schafer was assigned male at birth and transitioned as a child. She came to public attention after joining a 2016 lawsuit against North Carolina's Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act, a so-called "bathroom bill" which prevented transgender people from using public bathrooms corresponding to their gender identity. For her activism, she was named to Teen Vogue's "21 Under 21" list in 2017.
