«La paradoja» is the leadership story by James C. Hunter, published by Empresa Activa in paperback (192 pages, in Spanish).
Against the confusion between authority and power, the book argues that respect is not imposed through fear but earned through integrity, sincerity, and empathy. We can only change ourselves, and since work is done by people, caring for human relationships is essential for collaborating at work and at home.
Narrativa empresarial collection. Original title: The Servant: A Simple Story About the True Essence of Leadership. Revised and expanded edition; the sequel is Las claves de la paradoja.
For executives, team leaders, and readers interested in leadership, people management, and professional development.

Hunter Schafer is an American actress, model and transgender rights activist. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Schafer was assigned male at birth and transitioned as a child. She came to public attention after joining a 2016 lawsuit against North Carolina's Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act, a so-called "bathroom bill" which prevented transgender people from using public bathrooms corresponding to their gender identity. For her activism, she was named to Teen Vogue's "21 Under 21" list in 2017.
