Delve into the origins of the Black Magician Chronicles with 'The Magician's Apprentice', a novel that transports you hundreds of years before the events narrated in 'The Magicians' Guild'. Discover the story of Tessia, a young woman who defies her mother's expectations by following in her father's footsteps as a healer in the remote town of Mandryn. Her life takes an unexpected turn when, while attending to a patient in Lord Dakon's castle, she is forced to use latent magical powers to defend herself from a foreign magician. Now, as Lord Dakon's apprentice, Tessia faces a future full of possibilities, adventures, and luxuries, but also the great responsibility that comes with her magical abilities. In the midst of an impending war between neighboring nations, Tessia will discover that her gifts can unleash acts of witchcraft with devastating consequences that will resonate through the centuries.
