Craig Silvey is a former Australian novelist. Silvey has twice been named one of the Best Young Australian Novelists by The Sydney Morning Herald and has been shortlisted for the International Dublin Literary Award. His 2009 second novel Jasper Jones was selected by the American Library Association as Best Fiction for Young Adults in their 2012 list, and was made into the movie of the same name in 2017.
