«¡Cómo molo!» is the children's novel by Elvira Lindo, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardback (138 pages, in Spanish).
Manolito Gafotas stays in Carabanchel Alto while his friends spend the summer in more attractive destinations, but the summer in the neighbourhood turns out to be far more entertaining than expected: swims in the pool with his grandfather, fights with his brother the Imbécil, a visit from an aunt arriving from Norway, and an unexpected friend.
Third title in the Manolito Gafotas series, with illustrations by Emilio Urberuaga; published in 1997.
Recommended for child and young readers looking for everyday humour; its tone also works as family reading.
Spanish writer, screenwriter and journalist, author of the children's series Manolito Gafotas and of adult novels such as 'A corazón abierto'. She won the Spanish National Award for Children's and Young Adult Literature in 1998.
