«Infancia» is the autobiographical novel by Jona Oberski, published by Ediciones B in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
A story featuring a Jewish boy during the Second World War. From a child's perspective, it describes the progressive Nazi persecution: marginalisation, loss of rights, and internment in a concentration camp. The story is told with simplicity, through everyday gestures and the loss of innocence.
The work was originally published in Dutch as Kinderjaren (1978) and translated by Jan Schalekamp; this Spanish edition, from 2005, belongs to the Afluentes collection.
It is suitable for readers of historical fiction and Holocaust narratives seeking a child's view of Nazi persecution.
