«Hijas de Eva» is the novel by Alfredo Fierro, published by Ediciones Endymion in paperback (226 pages, in Spanish).
The work brings together the voices of legendary women who, in the shadow of the great men of a sacred history, tell their own version in the first person. Their testimonies contrast with the official account and reveal passions, deeds and even weaknesses, along with a scepticism towards masculine enterprises and an attachment to life and the land.
It corresponds to the first edition, published on 29 December 2011 within the Narrativa collection.
For readers of Spanish fiction seeking female voices and a critical view of sacred narratives.
