«Heidi» is the children's novel by Juana Spyri, published by Bruguera in hardback (124 pages, in Spanish).
Heidi is an orphan girl who goes to live with her grandfather, a withdrawn man, in a village in the Swiss Alps. Little by little she adapts to mountain life, befriends Peter the goatherd, and changes her grandfather's daily routine. When her aunt takes her to the city, Heidi encounters another home and other rules, but she does not forget her free life among the mountains.
The original work dates from 1880; this 1973 edition is the first in Bruguera's «Historias Color» collection, with a translation by Maricel Lagresa Colom and illustrations by Bosch Penalva.
Suitable for child and young adult readers who want to discover a classic of literature.
