Synopsis of Fuente Ovejuna
Fuente Ovejuna es una obra teatral del Siglo de Oro español escrita por Lope de Vega. Basada en un hecho histórico real ocurrido en el pueblo de Fuente Obejuna, Córdoba, en 1476, la obra narra la rebelión colectiva de los habitantes contra el comendador Fernán Gómez de Guzmán debido a sus abusos de poder y tiranía. La trama destaca la solidaridad y el sentido de justicia del pueblo, que, unido, decide tomar venganza por los agravios sufridos. La obra es un alegato sobre la legitimidad de la rebelión popular contra la opresión y la defensa del honor y la dignidad.
