«Fot-li, que som catalans!» is a book of satirical epigrams by Xavier Bru de Sala, Julià de Jòdar and Miquel de Palol, in paperback and in Catalan.
The book continues the tradition of essays on Catalan identity, but uses satire and epigram instead of reasoned analysis. Against seny and moderation, it proposes dissolution, contained or unbridled silliness and sarcasm to achieve self-esteem through lucid self-criticism.
The work, 263 pages, bears the subtitle «epigrames» and belongs to the Biblioteca d'actualitat collection.
Work for readers interested in Catalan culture and in satirical humour as a means of collective self-criticism.
