Feliçment, jo sóc una dona

Synopsis of Feliçment, jo sóc una dona

«Feliçment, jo sóc una dona» is the novel by Maria Aurèlia Capmany published by Educaula in paperback (400 pages, in Catalan).

Written in 1969, it is a novel of protest that marked a turn towards conscious feminism in Capmany's work. The author mixes genres and explores their limits, and through Carola Milà she raises the issue of inequality between men and women: a heroine who builds herself in a hostile world until she achieves freedom, wealth and happiness.
