«Feliçment, jo soc una dona» is the historical novel by Maria Aurèlia Capmany, published by Barcanova in paperback (384 pages, in Catalan).

The protagonist, Carola Milà, was born in the 20th century and aspires to achieve economic security and freedom without depending on men. In 1968, retired in Mallorca, she decides to write her memories and review an intense life, lived sometimes as a spectator and sometimes as an actress. Through her memory, Maria Aurèlia Capmany offers a portrait of Catalan society in the 20th century.

Catalan edition of 2017 with introduction, work proposals and text commentaries by Isabel Graña. The work was originally published in 1969 and belongs to the collection Edicions generals - Diversos.

Recommended as reading for Catalan Literature in upper secondary education in Catalonia and for young readers aged 14 and over.
