«Feitizo» is the children's and young adult fantasy novel by Xosé Miranda, published by Xerais in paperback (72 pages, in Galician).
Marta is the daughter of a real witch, but she doesn't want to inherit the trade: she hates flying on a broomstick and casting spells. Her aspiration is to lead an ordinary life, go to school, and go out with Ricardo. The novel recounts her attempts to escape a magical destiny imposed by her mother, in an adventure with moments of humour, fear and surprises.
The work belongs to the Merlín collection from Xerais, aimed at readers from 11 years old, and includes illustrations by Ruibal Piai.
Recommended for young readers who enjoy fantastic stories with a humorous tone and a touch of mystery.
