A badly injured young woman arrives at a hospital: it is Lydia, a victim of trafficking in women. She and Alena were deceived in Lithuania and trapped in a brothel; now they seek freedom and revenge. Inspector Sven Sundkvist and officer Ewert Grens follow the trail of a mobster Grens wants to capture, and both stories converge within hours.
Second instalment in the series featuring detective Ewert Grens. Originally published in 2005 as «Box 21»; this Spanish edition is translated by Gerardo di Masso Sabolo.
For readers of Nordic crime fiction who value social portraiture and urban plots, in the vein of Stieg Larsson and Lars Kepler.
