«En ville» is the novel by Christian Oster, published in 2013 by Éditions de l'Olivier in paperback (173 pages, in French).
After a dinner at which five friends set their holidays, their lives are altered by ambiguous episodes: Georges falls in love after being abandoned, William suffers an embolism, Paul and Louise think about separating, and Jean is to become the father of a woman he does not love. The trip goes ahead while disorder, the passing of time and humour hover around.
