«Els Nigrants i altres contes» is the short story collection that won the 23rd Tinet Internet Short Fiction Prize, published by Cossetània Edicions in paperback (96 pages, in Catalan).

In the title story, a boy hears about the Nigrants, evil beings everyone mentions without explaining what they are; getting no answers, he imagines them as shark-shaped monsters that might attack him at night, unaware that they are actually much closer than he thinks.
