«El zoo de la Z» is the children's story by Miguel Ángel Fernández Pacheco, published by Ediciones SM in hardback (24 pages, in Spanish).
The letter Z decides to set up its own zoo and keeps adding animals whose names begin with different letters of the alphabet. With a narrative that plays with the shapes of the Z, it includes a die-cut letter to play with and, together with the rest of the collection, to form words.
It belongs to the Letras de cuento collection, with illustrations by Javier Serrano. Published in Spain on 8 November 2007.
Aimed at pre-readers and early readers from age 4 who are starting to recognize letters.
