«El vol del colom» is Joaquim Carbó's young adult novel, published in 2002 by Columna CAT in paperback, in Catalan.
A seventeen-year-old lives alone with his father, a kind-hearted but somewhat eccentric man whose antics can end badly. To keep an eye on him, he gives up for a while what he enjoys most, especially going out with Carme, a neighbour from the heavy-metal crowd at school. The carrier pigeon Pintat will help him take flight again.
The work belongs to the Columna Jove collection. Joaquim Carbó (Barcelona, 1932) also published young adult titles such as «La casa sota la sorra» and «La colla dels deu».
Young readers from adolescence onwards who want an entertaining novel about family life, school and first love.
