«El somni d'Alicia» is Eduardo Punset's first novel, published by Destino in hardback (368 pages, in Catalan).
The narrative presents an intellectual adventure to overcome the blurred boundary between emotion and reason. Alicia, whose name means 'truth' in Greek, is the character who accompanies the author on a journey through life and science, told with intrigue and a narrative style that holds attention from the first pages and recalls Jostein Gaarder's 'Sophie's World'.
It was published on 24 October 2013 within the L'Ancora collection from Destino. The Catalan edition is translated by Mercè Ubach Dorca and Josep Pelfort.
For a general audience interested in popular science and contemporary narrative in Catalan.
Eduard Punset i Casals was a Spanish politician, lawyer, economist, and science popularizer.
