Synopsis of El sí de las niñas
El sí de las niñas es una comedia en tres actos del dramaturgo español Leandro Fernández de Moratín, publicada en 1806. La obra critica los matrimonios concertados y defiende la libertad de elección de las mujeres. La trama se centra en doña Francisca, una joven obligada por su madre a casarse con un hombre mayor al que no ama, don Diego. Sin embargo, Francisca está enamorada de don Carlos, sobrino de don Diego, lo que genera un conflicto que se resuelve finalmente con la renuncia de don Diego en favor del amor verdadero. La obra es un alegato a favor de la educación y la razón, y una crítica a las convenciones sociales de la época.
