The marriage of Martín and María and the life project they carry out has inevitable consequences on their environment. Gonzalito, María's brother, initially fascinated by his brother-in-law, a philosophy professor and writer, feels compelled to flee to London in search of self-knowledge. Virginia, María's frivolous friend, marries an Argentine businessman linked to international business. A family tragedy brings everyone together in María's paternal home: Gonzalito, in conflict after his exile; Virginia, after the failure of her marriage; Pelé, son of María and Martín, in an ambiguous relationship with his uncle; and María and Martín, whose affective relationships have deteriorated over time.
