«El león jardinero» is Elsa Punset's children's fable, published by Ediciones Destino in hardback (96 pages, in Spanish).
An independent bird and a lion with a huge heart meet under the same tree on the African plain. After initial mistrust, they find that living together benefits them: the lion keeps monkeys and snakes away from the nest, and the bird frees him from ticks. Thus a friendship is born that leads the lion to want to share his greatest secret.
