«El ladrón de sombreros» is the illustrated children's album by Susana Sutherland de la Cruz, published by Edelvives in hardback (24 pages, in Spanish).
In the city, the neighbours' hats disappear without anyone seeing the culprit: sun hats, caps and top hats rise into the air until they form a cloud of colours. People shout «¡Al ladrón!», but the mysterious thief does not appear. Who could it be and where will he take the hats?
Published in 2008, it is illustrated by Rafael Vivas and won the First Prize of the III International Competition for Illustrated Children's Album «Biblioteca Insular» of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria.
For early readers and children up to 9 years old; a short story to start reading.
