«El doble secret de la família Lessage» is a thriller by Sandrine Destombes, published by Rosa dels Vents in paperback (336 pages, in Catalan).
In 1989, twins Solène and Raphaël Lessage disappear in Piolenc, southern France; only her body is found, wearing a white dress and a flower crown. The case remains open. Years later, more children disappear in the village and messages appear in the twins' name; a young policeman and a retired detective investigate what happened.
The work was originally published as «Les jumeaux de Piolenc», translated by Maria Cirera i Delgado, and won the VSD RTL prize for best French thriller of the year.
For readers of thrillers and crime fiction; the work combines child disappearances, family secrets and short chapters that end with a twist.
