«El diari de Zlata» is the diary of Zlata Filipović, published by Columna in paperback (69 pages, in Catalan).
Zlata, an eleven-year-old girl, writes a diary about her life in Sarajevo until the Balkan war changes everything. Her entries move from recounting everyday discoveries to bearing witness to fear, bombings, and life without electricity, water, or food, showing the human face of the conflict.
It is part of the Columna Jove collection, number 78. The work was originally published in 1993 under the title «Zlatin dnevnik».
For young people and adults who want to approach a real testimony of war through a girl's eyes.
