«El cocodrilo de Gustavo» is a children's novel by Gabriela Rubio, published by Algar in paperback (80 pages, in Spanish).
After many years of play, Croqueta, Gustavo's rubber crocodile, ends up in the trash. Marisa, his cousin, refuses to accept it and wants to recover it. To succeed, the children must talk to the Garbage Man, perhaps as dangerous as they say, and they will discover a great story: a tale about friendship, loss, and courage.
This work belongs to Algar's Calcetín collection (no. 111) and is recommended for readers aged 7 to 10.
A relatable story for primary school children, suitable for reflecting on loss and the value of friendship.
