Intisar, a young Yemeni woman who works in a hospital, finds in her car a space of freedom in a male-dominated society. Addicted to speed and music, she takes part in improvised races. The niqab, which she uses as protection so as not to be recognized, allows her to move about autonomously. Includes an appendix on Yemeni society.
