«Du pain pour les pauvres et autres nouvelles» is a short story collection by Vincent Ravalec, published by EJL in paperback (119 pages, in French).
Kamel has just left his neighbourhood and lands in a centre for young offenders that he compares to an asylum. Drug dealers, drill thieves, worn-out police officers, exhausted prosecutors and unemployed actors populate a story that contrasts marginality with the world of advertising.
