«Doña Problemas» is the children's novel by El Hematocrítico, published by Anaya Infantil y Juvenil in hardback (96 pages, in Spanish).
Carlota, nicknamed Doña Problemas, has been solving school incidents since she was six: a backpack stained with yoghurt, a hard-to-find trading card or a neighbour who plays the TV too loud. With her helper Juan she takes on more serious cases, such as Gonzalo, who believes Tocho wants to kill him, and Juan's grandfather, the only one who resists her.
Winner of the XXXIX Vila d'Ibi Children's Narrative Contest (2021), it was published in 2022 as the first instalment of the Doña Problemas series and illustrated by Paco Roca.
For boys and girls aged 8 and over who enjoy school stories, humour and little mysteries.
