«Disculpe que no me levante» is the short story anthology by VV.AA., published by Demipage in paperback (398 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings together twenty unpublished stories by as many Latin American authors on the theme of death and funerals, with registers ranging from comic to dramatic and from fantastic to realist. Death is punctual, but the funeral resists having a fixed duration. A choral look at farewell rituals.
The book belongs to Demipage's Latin American Narrative collection and was published in Madrid in 2014.
Aimed at readers of contemporary short stories and Latin American short fiction.
