Samuel watches every day from his window a woman who leaves the children at the school bus stop. Fascinated by her, one afternoon when he is away he programs his camera to take several photos of her. But in addition to the images of the woman, the camera captures an unexpected event: that day and on that corner some teenagers provoke a neighbor's dog, it jumps the fence, bites one of them and kills him. Samuel prefers to hide those photos and, overcoming his natural shyness, ends up introducing himself to the woman he sees every morning. She is Marina, daughter of a military man, Commander Olmedo, in charge of dismantling the city's barracks. Olmedo, a strict man who fulfills his duty, appears at his home with a gunshot wound to the chest from his own gun. But Marina does not believe the official version of her father's suicide and hires Ricardo Cupido, a disbelieving and peaceful detective who, in his investigation, will discover how much the lives of these characters hide and the tense relationships they establish between them. From the barracks companions, to Marina's ex-husband, all have reasons to be suspicious.
