«Cuentos de los hermanos Grimm» is a collection of fairy tales by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, published by Ediciones Gaviota in hardback (360 pages, in Spanish).
The stories in this volume take the reader to a world of wonders where princes, commoners and even animals undergo trials and misfortunes until they achieve happiness. The marvellous seeps into reality: the language of animals, the spirit that animates objects and words that act as spells in short narratives with happy endings.
This edition belongs to the Trébol collection (2nd edition) and is recommended for readers aged 8 to 10. The original work, published in 1812, was titled Kinder- und Hausmärchen.
Recommended for readers aged 8 to 10 approaching classic tales and fantasy literature for the first time.

Jacob Ludwig Karl Grimm, also known as Ludwig Karl, was a German author, linguist, philologist, jurist, and folklorist. He formulated Grimm's law of linguistics, and was the co-author of the Deutsches Wörterbuch, the author of Deutsche Mythologie, and the editor of Grimms' Fairy Tales. He was the older brother of Wilhelm Grimm; together, they were the literary duo known as the Brothers Grimm.
