Cosmopolitics: Anthropological Perspectives is a book that addresses, from a comparative and ethnographic perspective, the study of politics. It analyzes how the diverse ways in which the political is constituted influence our existence and examines the exclusions and hegemonies produced by the practices of political interrelation. This volume compiles seventeen ethnographic texts by anthropologists who have studied politics since the 1940s in different societies and cultural contexts, from Africa to Indonesia, showing the contribution of anthropology to the study of contemporary politics.
