«Com el pare» is a children's picture book by David Melling, published by Serres in hardback (32 pages, in Catalan).
A lion cub enthusiastically tells how he wants to grow up and be like his father, though in some ways they are not so alike. With brief text and lots of humour, David Melling portrays the father-son relationship with tenderness through warm illustrations full of small details.
Published in 2007. Translated by Ana Duesa Esmandia from the original English. Part of the Infantil Català collection.
Suitable for early readers and for family reading, as the brief text and illustrations make it accessible to all ages.
