«Ceguera de amor (Culebrón del V Centenario)» is the novel by Maruja Torres, published in hardback, with 229 pages and text in Spanish.
The protagonist, Diana Dial, receives a commission from the Spanish government: to devise a soap opera that brings Spain and Latin America closer during the 500th anniversary of the Discovery. What begins as a zany adventure becomes a satire of official rhetoric and television soap operas, with shipwrecks, fires, boleros, passion and suspense.
