«Animáticas» is the children's book for learning to add and subtract by Keith Faulkner, published by EDICIONES SM in hardback (14 pages, in Spanish).
It proposes a counting game with savanna animals and other settings: the child turns a wheel to choose the question, counts the illustrated animals, solves the addition or subtraction, and lifts a flap to check if the result is correct. Each page invites practicing calculation in a visual and entertaining way.
Recommended reading age from 4 to 6 years. The original work is from 2003 and this Spanish edition is from 2005.
For children aged 4 to 6 who are beginning to familiarize themselves with numbers and first operations, combining manipulative play with learning.
