«Alt risc» is an anthology of thirteen black-humour short stories in Catalan, edited by Emili Olcina and Josep Roca, published by Laertes in paperback.
Thirteen transgressive and ingenious tales that range across disparate settings and situations. With black humour and a sardonic eye, they explore complex human characters and passions. The thirteen authors, established or unpublished, show concision, expressive force and a command of technical variety rarely seen in Catalan literature of the time.
Fourth volume in Laertes' Embat (Narrativa) collection; first edition published in Barcelona in 2000.
For readers of short fiction in Catalan seeking transgressive stories and black humour.
