«La vida canina - Contes de bojos» is a collection of short stories by Carles Bellver, published by Brosquil Edicions in paperback.
The author presents the tales as written by patients of a psychiatric clinic, between a fantastic anthology and a clinical chronicle. There are appearances and disappearances, improbable encounters, implausible confusions, people who suddenly speak Hungarian or long to live as dogs; echoes of Perucho, Calders, Vian or Cortázar can be recognized.
It belongs to the Lletra Llarga collection and won the Premi de Narrativa Vila d'Almassora 2004.
For readers of short fantastic fiction who appreciate the influences of Perucho, Calders, Vian or Cortázar.
