«Abefeario» is the children's alphabet book by Miguel Ángel Pacheco and Javier Serrano, published by Tatanka in paperback (34 pages, in Spanish).
A walk through the alphabet in which each letter becomes a colourful and extravagant character: A dresses up with a hat, B adopts funny gestures and C sports a purple skirt while running. With a simple and playful approach, the work brings letters closer to the youngest and stimulates their imagination.
Published in 2012. Miguel Ángel Pacheco won the National Prize for Children's and Young Adult Literature, and Javier Serrano the one for Illustration.
Aimed at the youngest who are beginning to discover the alphabet and at parents or educators looking for a playful approach to reading.
