«A la vora del temps» is a collection of folk tales by Albert Jané, published by Edicions del Pirata in paperback (192 pages, in Catalan).
It brings together folk tales and legends from very different sources: alongside local narratives, there are stories from distant countries such as Japan or Canada. Albert Jané adapts them freely and sets them in periods ranging from legendary antiquity to the present day, with a crafted yet accessible language.
It is part of the El Pirata Blau collection, where it is number 6; it includes illustrations by Irene Bordoy.
Recommended for readers aged 12 and up.
